Each year we welcome over 2,500 students and staff from schools worldwide.
20-24 February 2017
Nord Anglia International School came all the way from Hong Kong to join us in Kanchanaburi last week. We explored the ecology of Kanchanaburi’s forests and mountains, walked through the history of World War II at Hell Fire Pass and Death Railway Museum, and throughout the week encouraged team work, culminating in a great game of total wipeout.
On the last day the students visited Elephants World as a service section of their trip. They got to work shifting pumpkins, chopping bananas, feeding the elephants and bathing them. By the end of the day the children were very tired, but were so happy with the work they had done and the experiences they had had.
We fitted in so many activities and had so much fun in the space of a week, it would be difficult to say everything that we did. Suffice to say, the improvised disco that we threw on the last night was a welcomed last chance to throw some shapes and have some laughs with new friends.
We look forward to meeting Nord Anglia Hong Kong again next year. Until next time!
