A hands-on day to investigate stream flow and impacts on the Chao Phraya was waiting for St Andrews 71, year 9,when they arrived at the grounds of Wat Chalerm Prakiat in Nonthaburi.
Students observed and assessed river bank use and the impacts of different transport along the river, measured stream flow, considered the impact of gradient and discharge while working with stream tables and tested water samples using physical, chemical and biological tests.
Students left with a fuller understanding of the Chao Phraya, Thailand’s major waterway.
