Each year we welcome over 2,500 students and staff from schools worldwide.
16 – 18 January 2013
Another new year begins with a number of visits to Thailand’s premium national park: Khao Yai National Park. For our first trip to Khao Yai in 2013, we were delighted to welcome the Year 4 students and staff from Regents International School, Bangkok.
Over three fun-packed days and two nights, we explored the various habitats that make up the huge 2000 square kilometres of Khao Yai National Park. The students had the opportunity to track animals across the grasslands of Nong Pak Chi, learning how to identify animal foot prints and various other field signs. Then we headed for the deep jungle and a morning hike which took us deep into the biodiverse rainforests of Khao Yai.
As well as the hikes around the national park, the students had the opportunity to explore the nocturnal world of Khao Yai via a night safari. The students also took part in a variety of fun team games which helped them learn about the forest ecosystem and the importance of national parks for the protection and conservation of rare species in Thailand. We look forward to welcoming the Year 4 students back on trip with us in the near future.
