Grade 6 Khao Yai 28 - 30 January 2013
Another week and another trip to Khao Yai National Park. This week we were very pleased to welcome to the national park the Grade 6 students and staff from Ruamrudee International School, for their first forest trip with our programs. A cool, cloudy and misty Khao Yai awaited the students.
With three days and two nights of jungle fun and activities to be had, the students were all very keen to get involved and get out into the forest. Hikes into the jungle and grasslands revealed lots of elephant activity, which the students were fast to learn about and identify. A highlight of the trip was the team building activities which saw the students working together to complete team challenges. So committed to task at hand were the students, that not even heavy rain could put them off. At night, the students enjoyed a night safari around the park and one evening played some great nocturnal games.
With the sounds of gibbons still ringing in our ears we waved good bye to the RIS students and staff. Another great Khao Yai trip, and we look forward to working with RIS in the near future.
