Each year we welcome over 2,500 students and staff from schools worldwide.
1-3 Nov 2017
We at the Barge program had a lot of fun working with both year 6 and year 7 students from AISB during their fun-filled trip to Ayutthaya at the beginning of November. The AISB students visited many exciting places over the three day residential. We feel positive in their abilities to share their new found knowledge the next time they visit Ayutthaya. Some of the places and activities we did included:
Mapping Analysis: Students completed a mapping analysis of different traders in the region. Students enjoyed sharing about what they learned about each place.
Japanese Village: Students investigated Ayutthaya’s past and its relation to Japanese settlers.
Portuguese Village: Students pretended to be archaeologists as they discovered amazing artifact and deciphered the story of the ancient people.
Wat Phra Sri Sanphet: Students had fun learning and exploring about the history of Thailand.
