A great day with Brighton College Year 9 and 10 students was had at Queen Sirikit Snake Farm. The day involved students seeing a number of both poisonous and non-poisons snakes, with some students holding a yellow python and the whole group watching a spitting cobra being milked by very brave (and experienced) handlers!.
The group had the chance to study how anti-venom and vaccines work and why this Red Cross Centre is important, as well as what do to when you see a snake or if anyone got bitten, which is a key skill to have.
The highlight of the day for most was watching the snake handlers holding deadly snakes in such a calm manor!
